Bio:
Keith W. Abbott is a former United States Army Aviation Officer qualified in several rotary and fixed wing airframes. During Keith’s tenure in the Army, he was an Instructor Pilot (IP), Instrument Examiner (IE), and Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) for the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance platform (ISR). After the military, Keith flew commercially for several years before leaving the industry.

Moving around frequently with the military keep Keith away from his family. Keith and his wife Katie decided to settle down in beautiful Georgetown, Texas. Keith works for the Georgetown Independent School District and Katie works for Ascension Seton Williamson. Keith and Katie have two wonderful children, Louis who plays on the Georgetown High School Soccer Team and Martin who plays at GSA.

For the past eleven years, Keith has been coaching, supporting, and devolving future athletes for success. Keith’s enthusiasm for teaching and shaping athletics of all levels remains his single most important endeavor to date. Keith believes in creating and cultivating a learning environment that promotes exploration and individual expression both on and off the field. Keith’s teaching style reinforces Georgetown Soccer Association’s “Philosophy and Methodology,” and utilizes United States Soccer’s “Player Centered Approach” with focus on the four tenants; holistic, reality based, autonomy support, and experiential.
