Job Purpose:

Georgetown Soccer Association and Force FC is looking for a licensed, qualified individual to coach/instruct in our Academy Soccer Program for 6 to 10 year old players. This is the first building block towards a fulfilling soccer journey with the hopes of ending at College level or beyond. The Academy Director will provide a coaching curriculum for you to implement as you guide these young players through our process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement and adapt age-specific activities for our youngest age group.
• Demonstrate necessary soccer skills used in training and games such as passing, receiving, shooting, etc.
• Communicate effectively with the Director, peers, players, and parents.

Qualifications & Characteristics:

Qualifications include:

• USSF Certified with at least a grassroots soccer license.
  
• Need to be familiar with the emergent player and their specific needs in their developmental pathway.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions include regular evening and weekend work and working outdoors. Most of our training is conducted outdoors, and working in any number of weather conditions must be tolerated.

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting of goals for training and/or games.
Standing for duration of training and/or games.
