A HUGE congratulations are in order for our Force FC 10G White team for qualifying for the USYS National Championships!!
These girls and Coach Jon Gardner will be heading to Orlando in July to take on the best of the best in the nation, in the USYS leagues.
Let’s look back at the road they had to take to be the first Girls GSA Force FC team to ever make it to this stage. During their 2023/2024 Frontier National League season, the team finished in first place going 6-1-1; which automatically qualified them for the 2024 December Quarterfinals in Arizona. This was a mighty accomplishment in itself; due to injuries dwindling their numbers and most games being played with only 11; sometimes 10 players. As the 2024/2025 season was gearing up Coach Jon and the club went the extra mile to make sure this team was pushed and prepared to make it to the next level in their soccer goals. These girls have been playing in two leagues all season; both the USYS Frontier National League and the USC-TX ECNL-Regional League, with an extremely full fall season. This proved to be what the girls needed, because when they went to the NL Quarterfinals in Arizona, they went UNDEFEATED in all three games! Not only did they go undefeated, but they also didn’t have a single goal against! Their quarterfinals results were 3-0 vs Savannah United, 2-0 vs Nationals Union, and 2-0 vs Lou Fusz. Finishing at the top of their bracket, put them in the Champions Pool for the USYS Semifinals event in Round Rock this past February. Being in the Champions Pool meant that if they could win their first semifinals game, they would automatically qualify for the National Championships. Well, these girls dug deep during a very cold Friday game vs Indy Eleven E64 and came out with a 1-0 win!!! Ticket punched and ready to go!!!
Coach Jon and these girls (and their families) have put so much into this 2024/2025 season. Their grit and ability to fight for each other on the pitch not only makes this team so incredibly special but also leads them to the success they have had. Never giving up. Lifting each other up in the tough moments. Playing their game as one. This team keeps showing everyone that you can do great things, even at a small club. Congratulations Force FC 10G White…you deserve this and don’t you forget it!
